family photo session

We finally got some pictures taken of the whole family. It took us about 5 months to get it together but they turned out pretty cute for the most part. Here are just a few of the pictures we ended up with. Ethan of course was playing it up for the camera and Julianna was either crying of sucking her thumb. There are very few pictures of her happy without her thumb in her mouth and Noah was just a happy little camper during the shoot. Just smiling away:)

Of course I don't update this blog very often anymore. I have every intention of doing it, but with three little kids there is just very little time for the extra stuff. Actually, today I spent a rare 1.5 hours working out~much needed time to myself. Of course Julianna cried the whole time in the kids club, but those wonderful people just dealt with it and didn't bother me for a second!

Now we are not just busy with every day family life, work, etc, but the holidays too. Trying to get xmas cards out and all that extra xmas stuff. Not sure when I will find time but I did get some xmas lights up outside yesterday (right before it snowed) and the house semi decorated. Now we just have to get a tree and decorate, shop for presents, celebrate Hannukah, and all the other holiday stuff! We have to find time for all of this while taking Ethan up to the mountains every weekend in Dec and Jan for his ski lessons. He starts with the breckenridge bombers this weekend and is really looking forward to it. Maybe I can even get on my board this weekend...it has been way too long!

welcome Noah Karsten Frank

Hello everyone! Our little baby boy has finally arrived:) He was delivered on May 26th at 6:05pm after an 8 hour induction and labor. No problems during labor and it only took two contractions to get him out despite him being in an occipital posterior position (sunny side up) and being our biggest baby yet! Noah weighed in at 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 1/4 inches long. He looks very much like his brother and sister besides the surprise genetic twist of having very blonde hair! We did not see that coming!!!

We are all doing well and trying to adjust as a family of five:)

the little rascals

Just a few pictures of the kiddos having a fun time dancing to the music together cd. I have been taking Julianna to music together classes while Ethan is at school and she has been loving it. We have known for a while that she really loves music and loves to dance. Her best move is on her knees like she has a little spring in her legs. Apparently, she loves to sing as well. The other day I found her singing and swaying to her music in her crib. It was so darn cute! She loves being able to spend some time with me where her brother is not constantly bothering her. She is like a different child at music class. I hope to be able to do some more activities with her once the new baby is a bit older. She loves to color and I think will love art so I am probably going to sign her up for a gymboree art class for toddlers. I think she will love that in addition to her music class:)

Thursday is the day

Getting geared up to have three kids in the house by this weekend....Thursday (time still TBD) I will be induced at Rose Medical Center. Ethan is excited and Julianna is about to have a rude awakening. Has no idea what is coming this weekend!

We spent this past weekend at the Denver Botanical Gardens and at the rec center pool so the kids could have one last hurray before another sib enters the picture.

Will post stats and pics of the new little one after they arrive!

and soon to be three: baby update

Hard to believe that these two little rascals are soon going to be a big brother and big sister to a new little Frank sibling! I cannot believe how big both of them have gotten, but then on the other hand, I cannot believe how young they still are with another baby coming. Poor little Julianna- stuck in the middle and hardly had any time for fun activities with just me. Guess she will just have to get used to her little sibling coming along wherever we go....She will never know any different I guess.

38 weeks along today and feeling ready to POP! So uncomfortable and tired from chasing these two toddlers around. Julianna is now walking and she LOVES to climb as well so I feel like she is an accident waiting to happen. In the past week and a half she has had two bloody lips and Ethan tried to catch up today with a nice fat lip and lots of blood after he fell from running up and down the hallway. How on earth will I manage another little person here all day on my own?! HELP!

All is okay with baby #3 so far, but with my previous placental problems and the convenience of scheduling my birth for the babysitter to come, we decided to have an induction scheduled for 39 weeks. Also, my inductions go great and plus I have never gone into labor on my own before. So, will be induced on May 26th unless something happens before then. Must say, I am all for getting this baby out, but then again...not sure I am really ready for the arrival of baby Frank #3!

playing in puddles:)

Here are some pictures from April we took of Ethan playing in rain puddles and running away from us with his balloon. He is such a free spirit!
one picture of J for good measure just because she is soooo cute:) She likes to sit on this step and swing her legs back and forth...cutie pie!

He's stuck in the mud puddle...good thing I was wearing my rain boots too:)

He is running away from us and not listening....big surprise!
 rolling down the hill....

Easter egg hunt and the Easter bunny

Ethan and Julianna coloring after seeing the Easter bunny. Ethan loved him and Julianna wanted nothing to do with him.

kids on our block getting ready for the easter egg hunt in our pocket park.
Julianna walking and hunting for eggs....
 She found one!
 Ethan found one too!
 Silly Easter egg hunting face:)
 More egg hunting....

The second easter bunny we saw. Ethan loved him and Julianna would not get near him....

Just a few pictures of Easter weekend and visiting the Easter bunny. The kids had a fun time despite the weather being kind of cold and dreary. It did hold out though and there was no rain during the day. Our block organized an Easter egg hunt for the kids in our pocket park across the street and then we headed to the rec center where the Easter bunny was hanging out. Julianna and Ethan loved hunting for eggs and getting chocolate (Ethan's favorite) and jelly beans (Julianna's favorite).
